Community Supervision > Prolific and Other Priority Offenders (PPO) Strategy

Prolific and Other Priority Offenders (PPO) is a national strategy to reduce the harm caused by serious and persistent offenders. PPO is delivered through local multi-agency Panels, tasked to identify persistent, serious offenders and to tackle their behaviour constructively through multi-agency intervention.  

North Yorkshire Youth Justice Service co-ordinates the two Deter Panels dealing with persistent, serious young offenders in North Yorkshire:

• East (Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale)
